17 Classes, this class is intended for the students finished public speaking level 1 and want to move to debate

 Target Audience: Students in grades 5-9 with less than a year of debate experience.
 Focus: Establishing fundamental debate skills and public speaking.
 Course Outline:
 ➔ Meets1-2times per week.
 ➔ Introduction to Canadian National Debate Format & British Parliamentary.
 ➔ Strategies for developing constructive arguments, refutation, and handling Points of Information
 (POIs).
 ➔ Emphasis on public speaking skills through practice exercises
